Hi, I'm Jon
I am a behavioral scientist and Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at WashU.
I study judgment and decision making, with an emphasis on uncertainty: how people form beliefs, make judgments, and choose what is best in light of uncertain information and situations.
My research spans many domains of behavioral science, including: perceptions of risk, behavioral ethics, social norms and inferences, and behavioral interventions to improve individual decisions.
I am personally and professionally interested in Effective Altruism, including ways that decision science may support EA causes.
